AJUNIE VIRK is an animator and motion designer based between Chicago + NYC.

Virk is an alumni of Carnegie Mellon University (2023, the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture (2023), and the Yale Norfolk School of Art (2022). She was additionally a resident at Bunker Projects (2025) and Brew House Arts (2024/25). A recipient of the Fund for Arts @ the Frontier Microgrant, Anne Dowden Award, and the Samuel Rosenberg Awards, she has most recently presented works at the Coaxial Art Foundation (LA), Roski Mateo Gallery (LA), and the Light Matters Festival (UT). She is currently developing her first feature-length animated film set to premiere in 2026...ish.
